Quebec wine production falls under the style of Cold Climate Grape Growing. Located at a northern
lattitude where tradional grape production is not supposed to flourish, Quebec producers have
had to adapt their crop to fit the harsh climate of Quebec. Much of what is produced in Quebec is
based on hybrid grape varieties such as Vidal and Seyval as well as more exotic types.
